Miss California Topless Photos: MORE Carrie Prejean 'Modeling' Pictures | HuffPost
Controversy refuses to die down on Miss California Carrie Prejean, who after losing the Miss USA crown for her anti-gay marriage views, has now landed in a new row over a nude photo. A topless picture showing the year-old posing provocatively is making its rounds on the Internet. Pageant spokesman Roger Neal revealed that, as per a clause in her Miss California USA contract, Prejean is barred from being "photographed in a state of partial or total nudity", reports Foxnews. Prejean now faces the threat of being stripped off her title, and a decision regarding the matter is expected soon. Meanwhile Miss USA runner up Carrie Prejean has said that her leaked topless picture is an attempt to disgrace her for her anti-gay marriage views.
Miss USA runner-up now in topless photo scandal
Pageant spokesman Roger Neal said Tuesday it appears Prejean has run afoul of several sections of the page contract that all prospective contestants were required to sign before competing in the November state contest. The detailed document prohibits the titular Miss California from making personal appearances, giving interviews or making commercials without permission from pageant officials. In the last 10 days, Prejean has made televised appearances at her San Diego church and on behalf of the National Organization for Marriage, a group opposed to same-sex marriage. A photo of Prejean wearing only pink panties with her back turned to the camera appeared Monday on the gossip blog theDirty. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos.
With partially nude photos of her popping up on Web sites questioning her Christian credentials, Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has fired back, claiming the racy pictures are just modeling shots and vowing to continue her battle against same-sex marriage. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But Alicia Jacobs, a judge at the April 19 Miss USA pageant during which Prejean made her highly publicized statement opposing same-sex marriage, said the pictures go beyond what the Miss California pageant says are appropriate. The images may also hurt her status as a spokeswoman for conservative causes.
