The year-old news anchor based in Des Monies, Iowa, had shared an article on her Facebook page called " Put On Your Damn Swimsuit ," encouraging moms to confidently rock a swimsuit. But Kiernan herself, a mom to a nine-month-old son, couldn't bear to put one on. On July 4, she wrote on Facebook that she tried all of her swimsuits on and even had her husband make a Target run to get her a new one—but she still felt dissatisfied with the way she looked.
